5k, 10k, and 1/2 Marathon Run Programs
Get Fit Live Fit Run Programs are written for ALL levels, from first-time runner through seasoned racer, and for a range of goals, from weight loss to improving race times.
This program will provide you:
- a personalized training program tailored to your goals and fitness level upon entering the program
- a consistent place to meet for Wednesday and Saturday runs
- an experienced and knowledgeable coach on hand for at least 6 of the workouts to answer injury, equipment, and training questions
- group leaders to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation
- a group of like-minded runners to provide accountability
- accurately measured and marked maps/training routes

Marathon Run Programs
For the first time ever, Get Fit Live Fit will be offering a 27-week training program for aspiring marathon runners! Training will include sessions of race-pace intervals, and an eventual long run of at least 20 miles.
Beginner Program
This will be your first marathon. You should have six months to one year of consistent running under your belt (3 or more days per week; you should be running at least 15 miles per week for a minimum of four weeks prior program start date) upon entering the marathon training program). This program will prepare you to finish your first marathon comfortably and injury-free.
Experienced Program
You have completed at least one marathon and want to improve your personal best. You should be running 5 or more days per week and at least 20-25 miles/week upon entering the marathon training program). This program will help you develop the necessary muscular and aerobic endurance as well as focus on speed-work and strengthening to help you improve your marathon time.
Both programs will provide you:
- a professionally written 27-week training program
- a consistent place to meet for Wednesday and Saturday runs
- an experienced and knowledgeable coach on hand for all of the workouts to answer injury, equipment, and training questions
- group leaders to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation
- a group of like-minded runners to provide accountability
- accurately measured and marked maps/training routes

Walk Programs
Whether your goal is to lose weight or finish a marathon, the Get Fit Live Fit Walk program provides walkers:
- a personalized training program tailored to your goals and fitness level upon entering the program
- a consistent place to meet for Wednesday and Saturday walks
- an experienced and knowledgeable coach on hand for at least 6 of the workouts to answer injury, equipment, and training questions
- group leaders to provide assistance, consistent pacing, and motivation
- a group of like-minded walkers to provide accountability
- accurately measured and marked maps/training routes
