  • Intermediate 1/2 Marathon Training Program

    Who is this for?:  Runners interested in finishing their first 1⁄2 marathon and continuing to improve their overall fitness through running. This program is also for all individuals who have graduated from our intermediate level 10k program.

    Where are you now?: If you haven’t participated in our intermediate 10k program, you have been averaging 15-20+ miles a week for a minimum of 8 weeks leading up to the training program. You are able to  comfortably run 8 miles in a single run at the start of the training program.

    What will you learn? We will teach you how to build your endurance and stamina to run 13.1 miles.   You will have weekly group long runs and will build your distance progressively. Weekly workouts will focus on improving your running economy and staying injury free. Through this program, you will also see your average speed on training runs and races improve with the development of your endurance.

  • Advanced Level 1⁄2 Marathon Training Program

    Who is this for?: Experienced runners who have completed past half marathons with a goal of competing at the 1⁄2 marathon distance and improving their performance in this event. This program is also for all individuals who have graduated from our intermediate level 1⁄2 marathon training program.

    Where are you now?: If you haven’t participated in our intermediate 1⁄2 marathon training program, you have been averaging 20-25 miles a week or more for a minimum of 8 weeks leading up to the training program. You are able to comfortably run 13.1+ miles in a single run.

    What will you learn?: We will teach you how to build your endurance and improve your stamina and speed over 13.1 miles. You will have weekly runs and will build your distance progressively. Weekly workouts will focus on improving your running economy, speed, endurance and staying injury free. Through this program, you will also see your average tempo on training runs and races improve with the development of your endurance, stamina and speed
